Tony recently marked an incredible milestone—30 years in pantomime! A seasoned performer and audience favourite, he continues to bring laughter and energy to the stage year after year.

In the upcoming 2025/2026 season, Tony returns to Redditch to play the lovable Wishee Washee alongside Bill Ward and Dave Benson Phillips. You can catch them in the Palace Theatre’s production of Aladdin, running from Monday, 8th December 2025, to Sunday, 4th January 2026.

Last year, in 2024, Tony delighted audiences at the Weymouth Pavilion as Smee in Peter Pan. The year before, in 2023, he performed with Anne Hegerty in Aladdin at Chesterfield’s Winding Wheel Theatre. In 2022, he returned to his birthplace, the Isle of Man, to play the Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz at the Gaiety Theatre, produced by Shone Productions.

Over the years, Tony has worked with many of the UK’s leading pantomime companies, including QDOS, First Family, Extravaganza, Spillers, and Paul Holman Associates. His versatility has seen him take on a wide range of beloved panto roles such as Buttons in Cinderella, Smee in Peter Pan, Muddles in Snow White, Wishee Washee in Aladdin, Silly Simon in Jack and the Beanstalk, Idle Jack in Dick Whittington, and even his creation—Ruddles—in Beauty and the Beast.

Tony’s passion for pantomime doesn’t stop at Christmas. He’s also appeared in summer panto seasons with QDOS Productions on the Haven Holiday circuit, performing in Aladdin, Jack and the Beanstalk, Beauty and the Beast, Mother Goose, Pirates Ahoy, and The Little Mermaid.

Throughout his career, Tony has shared the stage with some of the UK’s most recognisable names in TV and theatre, including Simon Callow, Bonnie Langford, Claire King, Sid Owen, Leslie Grantham, Dani Harmer, Basil Brush, Charlie Dimmock, Camilla Dallerup, Paul Daniels and Debbie McGee.
